Abstract

Electronic circuits are designed to process the functional requirements of product. Requirements such as controlling, monitoring and filtering could be processed using analog or digital signals. Analog and digital signal processing operations are presented for Switched-Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) using simplified functional block diagrams. Boolean algebra, De Morgan laws, Shannon theorems and their applications are also presented. Basic characteristics of digital signal are defined.
