Abstract

In this chapter, we will review the current situation regarding the mental health of men. We will then review help-seeking among men and women before reviewing important factors which may contribute to men being less likely to seek help from mental health professionals. We will then go on to describe recent positive work that has been carried out on male help-seeking and suggest some ways forward.
