Abstract

An enterprise e-profile which is used when constructing a collaborative network of an enterprise in cyberspace based on the concept of a cyber-physical system (CPS)/digital twin is proposed in this paper. By extending an enterprise model used in the virtual supply chain configuration method, the requirements, the structure, and implementation method for the enterprise e-profile are obtained. An enterprise e-profile is enterprise model data that describes an enterprise's outline, characteristics, dynamic activity as behavior, etc. in a common understandable manner. An enterprise e-profile can be converted into a virtual enterprise (software agent) as a member of a network. When configuring a business-to-business collaborative network in cyberspace, by constructing a virtual network as a multi-agent system, it is possible to search the appropriate cooperation partner, to consider the appropriate action of oneself and so on. In other words, an enterprise e-profile will act as name card of the company in the cyber business world. Four use cases using the enterprise e-profile in the future digital society are introduced to show its usefulness. Finally, the necessity for the international standardization of enterprise e-profiles is discussed.
