Abstract

Collaborative problem-solving has a long and important tradition in philanthropy. The authors propose that one of the most critical ingredients is the presence of a compelling, locally relevant framework for understanding "the system." Reclaiming Futures (RF), a national initiative aimed at promoting juvenile justice reform at the local level, explicitly incorporates this strategy of instilling a framework for cross-sector, systems-level analysis.
