Perovskite lead halide quantum dots (pQDs) are a class of interesting nano-emitters that have gathered great attention because of their superior optoelectronic properties. Here we report on the preparation of photoswitchable pQDs hybridized with photochromic diarylethene (DAE) ligands and their reversible photoluminescence photoswitching as a result of energy transfer from pQDs to the closed-ring isomer of DAE ligands.
