Abstract

The article offers information on the use of hypnosis in dental practice for dental patients that are anxious and have phobias. It states 75% of population have fear of dental services. It states that hypnosis help phobic people to overcome their fear while in their hypnotic state. It argues that dental professionals are in the position to offer hypnosis to their patients especially if they are sympathetic and are well-trained in their profession.
