Abstract

A novel graphical method is introduced for evaluation of the state of equilib- rium of a solution crystallizing within a porous medium. This tool makes it easy to anticipate the effects of changes in pore size distribution, initial con- centration of salt, or type of salt, on the crystallization pressure at equilibrium.
