Abstract

A method for identifying the distributed rotor imbalance from aircraft engine vibrations measured on the casing of the engine is presented. The problem is heavily ill-posed. Nonlinear regularization techniques for linear inverse problems and nonlinear functionals are suggested for stable reconstruction algorithms. © 2006 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
