We present the main results of a series of near infrared spectroscopic observations of a sample of young stellar sources classified as Class Is. Our aim is to derive the accretion luminosity of the objects and investigate their actual accretion activity. For the three sources of our sample that drive a massive jet, we discuss the connection between the accretion and ejection processes, by deriving the mass ejection rate to mass accretion rate ratio.
