The paper discusses the construction of a social machine to solve a complex problem faced by doctoral students: "What Comes Next?"especially important during this pandemic when many traditional career paths have been compromised. This system utilizes TimeBank, SkillBank and Knowledge Graphs to provide users with an OpportunityBank: An opportunity to connect with other doctorates, to understand different career paths after graduation, alternative use of acquired skills, and to network sharing available positions, research work, and data. Users can collaborate while keeping an eye on what is happening in other social platforms. The system uses ĝ€prosopography narrative' and provides a platform for ĝ€shadow institutes', while maintaining provenance, trust, and accessibility to required information through knowledge graphs.
