Abstract

Wax sticking frequently occurs in heavy oil production due to high wax composition and high pour point, while production time efficiency achieves 98% through utility of electrical heating oil tube technology. With application of electric heating technology of tubing, the production time efficiency of heavy oil wells reaches more than 98%. However, the daily energy consumption of heavy oil wells is as high as 700 kW·h. In order to achieve energy saving production in electrical heating oil tube well, the optimization technology for heating power was researched. Based on the basic theory of heat transferring, the mathematical model of tubing electric heating viscosity reducing and lifting process is established and solved, and the wellbore temperature field of electric heating is well simulated. The relationship model of pumping unit lifting energy consumption and wellbore temperature field is established, and the energy consumption of pumping unit and electric heating energy consumption are considered comprehensively, which lays a foundation for optimizing electric heating power. The changes of oil tube temperature field and the distribution of viscosity resistance and the motor active energy changes in different heating power is analyzed. Based on this, the optimum electric heating power of tubing is optimized. It is difficult for heavy oil wells to produce normally under the optimum electric heating power owning to physical characteristics of crude oil.Combining with field application analysis, the reasonable electric heating power is optimized, reasonable electric heating power should make the temperature of crude oil in wellbore higher than the freezing point temperature, so that crude oil has better fluidity and ensure that high viscous heavy oil is lifted to the surface. The optimization for heating power method in this paper provides a new idea for the development of heavy oil electric tracing wells with high efficiency and energy saving.
