Abstract

In this paper, we present a web-based finite element meshes partitioner and load balancer (FEMPAL). FEMPAL is an integrated tool that consists of five components, a partitioner, a load balancer, a simulator, a visualization tool, and a Web interface. Through the Web interface, other four components can be operated independently or can be cooperated with others. Besides, FEMPAL provides several demonstration examples and their corresponding mesh models that allow beginners to download and experiment. The experimental results show the practicability and usefulness of our FEMPAL.
