Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of children's early education experience on school readiness of children aged 5-6 years in Samarinda Ulu District, Samarinda City. The population in this study were children aged 5-6 years who attended kindergarten group B in Samarinda Ulu District. The sampling technique is stratified random sampling. Data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires to parents to find out the initial experience of children's education and to teachers for school readiness data. The results showed that there were differences in school readiness of children aged 5-6 years between children who participated in KB - TK A - TK B, TK A - TK B, and TK B. Keywords: children's early education experience, school readiness, early childhood ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengalaman awal pendidikan anak terhadap kesiapan bersekolah anak TK Usia 5-6 tahun di Kecamatan Samarinda Ulu Kota Samarinda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun yang bersekolah di TK kelompok B di Kecamatan Samarinda Ulu. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu Stratified random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada orang tua untuk mengetahui pengalaman awal pendidikan anak dan kepada guru untuk data kesiapan bersekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kesiapan bersekolah anak usia 5-6 tahun antara anak yang mengikuti KB – TK A – TK B, TK A – TK B, dan TK B. Kata Kunci: pengalaman awal pendidikan anak, kesiapan bersekolah, anak usia dini
