DEVELOPING SPEAKING SKILLS THROUGH STORIES

Abstract

Teaching speaking skills is always considered difficult activity. Therefore, choosing an appropriate teaching methodology to help students improve speaking skills is really important. This paper is going to discuss personal experience of taking advantage of stories to enhance students’ speaking skills. Besides, the researcher expects to explore the effectiveness of stories in most of English classes. The researcher also illustrated an example of how to conduct the lesson by storytelling in a real class. Article visualizations:
