Abstract

This study tries to examine the politics of regional autonomy lawasymmetrical scope in Indonesia. Sources reviewed based on the constitution created and enforced by the government in the form of laws on asymmetric decentralized areas. This research uses normative law type, data collection is done by collecting legislation, books, journals, andmagazines related to the theme. This study discusses the concept of asymmetrical decentralization with the provisions of the regional government law in general, both specific and special asymmetrical decentralized regions in Indonesia have different characters, both the procedures for governing it and the system of government that it operates. The focus of this study is to examine the politics of regional autonomy law asymmetrical scope, where there are areas that can be called asymmetrical decentralization, namely, the Special Region of Yogyakarta, the Government of Aceh, the Special Autonomy of Papua and West Papua and the Special Capital Region of Jakarta.
