After leaving the Hollywood visual-effects business, Lorne Lanning and Sherry McKenna cofounded Oddworld Inhabitants. Lanning had created a fictional universe called Oddworld, and believing in the power of video games as a storytelling medium, he set out to realize his creative vision. Immediately, he persuaded McKenna, a leading computergraphics producer who had worked with talents such as The Doors, Michael Jackson, and Mick Jagger, to join him.
