Abstract

In these lecture notes we present examples of F# mobile web applications using Web Sharper [1], an open source F# web framework. In the first part of the tutorial, we provide a quick walkthrough of the relevant WebSharper features and concepts. Web Sharper, through its extensions, can provide type-safe interfaces to various JavaScript libraries. We will make use of extensions to jQuery Mobile [2] and Sencha Touch [3], and demonstrate how to develop F# mobile web applications with these libraries.
