Abstract

It is getting clearer that electricity generation costs will not decrease anymore while using the conventional technologies with the diminishing limited sources. In order to achieve more cost-effective solutions, supply--demand equilibrium point for energy sector should be fully optimized. Various alternatives for the energy consumer profiles should be analyzed as well as the fundamental measures are taken so far within the supply side, i.e., diversification of energy carriers or increasing the share of domestic resources or technological improvement actions. For each energy decision-making process, shifting these dynamic components would get better results by taking both technical and social point of view together under the same spot. In this paper, the main focus is to obtain a keen assessment for the possible modifications in demand side of the country.
