Abstract

The authors introduce the issue's theme of the diverse and complex social aspects of participation as experienced by individuals in their daily lives and discuss articles within the issue on topics including a teenage girl drawing awareness to school bullying, the trajectory of an immigrant's child in France, and elderly women and active aging.
