Abstract

Discusses the Cretaceous-Tertiary boundary in order to examine the extent of biological responses to physical causes, especially those causes categorised as short-term. Possible responses on both a global and local scale are considered. Physical phenomena considered varied from tectonic to extra-terrestrial, and an attempt was made to evaluate their possible effect upon evolutionary trends. -T.Kennard
