In the present work we analyze the nonlinear and time dependent temperature feedback in neutron point kinetics with precursors. The influence of neutron density and temperature on reactivity is calculated from a minimal non-linear model. Starting from a phenomenological point of view, beside the neutron density temperature coupling also a non-linear neutron density term is added to the temperature influence on the neutron density, or power density. A closed form solution of this extended point kinetics equation system and the computation of reactivity as a function of time by the decomposition method is discussed.
