Abstract

Thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) is a neurovascular entrapment syndrome of the upper extremity. It is most broadly separated into vasculogenic (V-TOS) and neurogenic (N-TOS) subtypes. TOS occurs relatively rarely in sports but can be devastating when it does. © 2009 Springer-Verlag New York.
