This article presents an analysis on the use of internet and educational television in young people and children between the ages of 7 and 17 years. Based on documentary analysis from a qualitative documentary type and an interview, variables associated with the use of the internet and educational programs are identified. Conclusion: Factors associated with the use of internet and educational television are personal factors, factors of support family and institutional (teacher); attitudinal factors, social factors and impact: positive associated with relationships, learning, and negatives associated with health, addictions, negative academic performance.
