Introduction of Quality Requirement and Evaluation Based on ISO/IEC SQuaRE Series of Standard

Abstract

ISO/IEC 25030[1] was published in 2007 and ISO/IEC25040[2] was published in 2011. JTC1/SC7/WG6 is currently developing ISO/IEC 25041 based on ISO/IEC 25030[1], 25040[2] and previous ISO/IEC 14598-3, -4, and -5. ISO/IEC 250nn SQuaRE series set of standards can be used for quality requirement and evaluation project. This paper introduces the ISO/IEC 25030[1], 25040[2] and 25041 for specifying quality requirements and evaluation of systems and software products for development and acquisition of them. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2013.
