Abstract

Complete patency of the omphalomesenteric duct is one of the most uncommon presentations of omphalomesenteric related anomalies. We herein present a newborn with a faecal umbilical discharge due to the above-mentioned anomaly. We describe the diagnostic and therapeutic options and the results of a literature review.
