Abstract

Winter flocks of Golden Plovers show marked fidelity to particular areas from year to year. This paper investigates the species’ use of such sites, and discusses the possible reasons for this behaviour. Comparisons are made with the Lapwing. © 1979 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
