Abstract

1. The actual crisis regarding the relationships between the United States and the European Union can be improved only by a coherent (and pragmatic rather than cordial) European Union policy aimed at restoring the friendship between the EU and the US, and by the assertion of the European Union’s common foreign and security policy, known as CFSP.
