Abstract

Abstract   Prosthetic in its use generally causes problems for its users especially stumps that were injured due to their long-standing use and for that reason the study was conducted. This research uses resin and fiberglass as material of prosthetic socket, accelerometer and gyroscope sensor as main sensor. Prosthetic is made equipped with an early warning system as a warning that prosthetic users have reached a safe limit so that users can minimize the occurrence of injuries to the stump. The result of this research is the weight of prosthetic end result of ± 1.2 kg with foot which have length ± 25 cm and width ± 8,8 cm and have height as big as ± 53,4 cm. The angle value used as the limit of number of steps in the early warning system obtained from this research is 34,750   Keywords  :  prosthetic, accelerometer and gyroscope, angle, early warning system
