Adoecimento psíquico em mulheres portadoras do vírus HIV: um desafio para a clínica contemporânea

Abstract

Este artigo tem como objetivo aprofundar o entendimento e promover a reflexão sobre o sofrimento psíquico de mulheres portadoras do vírus HIV. Tomei como base minha vivência inicial de estagiária e atual de profissional, atuando em instituições que atendem pacientes com problemas clínicos infectológicos, entre eles, a infecção pelo vírus HIV. Sustentei-me em textos psicanalíticos, em estudos recentes sobre a problemática da Aids e no significado da morte real e simbólica, considerando a representação social da epidemia e suas repercussões na subjetividade. Destaquei o adoecimento psíquico das pacientes, expresso através do sofrimento melancólico, cuja decorrência foi relacionada a aspectos inconscientes da sexualidade, trazidos à tona frente ao diagnóstico, à confrontação com o tema da morte e à forma de subjetivação da sociedade contemporânea.This article aims at deepening the understanding and at promoting reflection on the psychological suffering of HIV-infected women. As a basis for this work I took my previous experience as a trainee and my current experience as a professional at institutions that take care of patients with clinical infectious conditions - among them, the infection due to HIV. Texts on psychoanalysis were my cornerstone, as well as current studies on the issue of HIV and on the meaning of the real and symbolic death. The social representation on the epidemic and its effects on subjectiveness have also been considered. I underscored the patients' psychological illness expressed through melancholic suffering - the last regarded - as related to the unconscious aspects of sexuality - brought up by the confrontation with the diagnosis, with the subject of death and with the subjective patterns of contemporary society.
