Abstract

Wetland Visitor Centres, or Wetland Education Centres, can be defined as activ- ities or facilities at or near a wetland which deliver CEPA (Communication, Education, Participation and Awareness Raising) activities to the public. The center may be a large, complex set of buildings that delivers a range of activities, such as the Hong Kong Wetland Park with over half a million visitors per year or, at the other end of the scale, a small community group which supports regular volunteering activities, as examples.
