Abstract

Blended learning or hybrid teaching, which combines the advantages of conventional education and e-education, becomes a new way of teaching and learning in the current information age. Based on the case study of a university in Fujian, China, this paper carries out the reform of blending digital instruments, such as WeChat, iWrite, with orthodox education to teach "Writing for English Argumentative Essays" and employs classroom observation, interviews and grades analysis, hoping to enhance the teaching effectiveness of writing and lay a solid foundation for holistic education and lifelong learning.
