Abstract

A taxonomic review of Aleochara Gravenhorst subgenus Xenochara Mulsant & Rey in Korea is presented. Five species are recognized, with one species, A. (Baryodma) intricata Mannerheim, newly transferred to the subgenus Xenochara. Aleochara (X.) asiatica Kraatz and A. (X.) peninsulae Bernhauer are reported for the fi rst time in the Korean peninsula.
