Abstract

Of the 16 frog genera found in New South Wales, eight are represented in the western portion. Eight distinct patterns of distribution are recognizable within the state's frog fauna. Only three species have distributions that are largely confined to W NSW. Currently recognized declines in frog populations include only one species of the western portion. -from Author
