O gigante dormente: O lugar nos trilhos da ferrovia Norte?sul

Abstract

Os Grandes Projetos de Engenharia são eventos que modificam o espaço, alterando seus elementos naturais e socioculturais. Os efeitos socioespaciais desses empreendimentos podem ser positivos e/ou negativos. A construção da Ferrovia Norte – Sul é considerada um grande projeto. Esse propõe um traçado com vias férreas de aproximadamente 2.100 km atravessando as regiões Centro-Oeste e Norte do País, conectando-se ao norte com a Estrada de Ferro Carajás e ao sul com a Ferrovia Centro Atlântica. Com isso reduz-se custos com fretes para longas distâncias, podendo suscitar o desenvolvimento econômico do Cerrado brasileiro. Não obstante aos objetivos desenvolvimentistas da FNS, este trabalho busca refletir sobre os impactos que a ferrovia pode trazer para o espaço rural e urbano no município de Anápolis – GO, tendo o lugar como categoria desta análise. Não há como integrar, incluir, acomodar um grande número de pessoas que ‘não tem lugar’ numa sociedade excludente. Por outro lado, as formas de reintegração e inclusão surgidas são cada vez mais degradantes e pouco contribuem para uma condição de bem estar social. Com o objetivo de espacializar e ilustrar esta reflexão, o tratamento geográfico que se pretende dar na perspectiva do espaço – lugar menciona a construção de um grande projeto de infraestrutura logística de transportes na Mesorregião do Centro Goiano, na entrada sul da cidade de Anápolis, no Estado de Goiás, a Ferrovia Norte Sul – FNS e suas implicações socioespaciais.The Great Engineering Projects are events that change the space, altering their natural and socio-cultural elements. The socio-spatial effects of these developments can be positive and / or negative. The construction of the North – South railway is considered a major project. This suggests a path with railways of approximately 2100 km across the Midwest and north of the country, connecting the north with the Carajás Railroad and south with the Central Atlantic Railroad. Despite the developmental objectives of the FNS, this paper seeks to reflect on the impact that the railroad can bring to the rural and urban in the city of Anápolis - GO, taking place as a category of this analysis. Moreover, the forms of inclusion and reinstatement are increasingly encountered and degrading little to a condition of social welfare. Aiming to spatialize and illustrate this reflection, the geographical treatment that is intended to give the perspective of space - place mentions the construction of a major infrastructure project in the transport logistics Mid- Region the Center of Goiás, at the southern entrance of the city of Anápolis, in State of Goiás, the North South Railway - FNS and its socio-spatial implications.
