PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI MENGAJAR GURU SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

From the evaluation of the Principal of the 1st semester of the 2020/2021 school year through a learning supervise that focuses on the teacher's ability to carry out the teaching and learning activities process against motivation and learning outcomes in Bandungrejo State Elementary School 2, it was concluded that the ability of most teachers has not achieved maximum results. This is evident in the initial supervision carried out by the Principal, from 14 classroom teachers and subjects, most teachers still get a score below the average of 44; While the expected average ability limit is 70,00. Guided by the findings on teaching and learning activities identifying the most basic and urgent needs for teachers today is coaching in the management of the teaching and learning process and finding the right learning model in classroom learning. The principal provides coaching and mentoring services and provides solutions to teachers in managing the teaching and learning process and provides alteranative finding the right learning model by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. ABSTRAKDari hasil evaluasi Kepala Sekolah semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 melalui supervise pembelajaran yang berfokus pada kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan proses kegiatan belajar mengajar terhadap motivasi dan hasil pembelajaran di SD Negeri Bandungrejo 2 diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kemampuan sebagian besar guru belum mencapai hasil yang maksimal. Hal ini terbukti pada supervisi awal yang dilakukan oleh Kepala Sekolah, dari 14 guru kelas maupun mata pelajaran, sebagian besar guru masih mendapatkan nilai dibawah rata-rata yaitu 44; sedangkan batas kemampuan rata-rata yang diharapkan adalah 70,00. Berpedoman dari hasil temuan pada kegiatan belajar mengajar mengidentifikasi kebutuhan paling mendasar dan mendesak terhadap guru saat ini adalah pembinaan dalam pengelolaan proses belajar mengajar dan menemukan model pembelajaran yang tepat dalam pembelajaran dikelas. Kepala sekolah memberikan layanan pembinaan dan pendampingan serta memberikan solusi kepada guru dalam mengelola proses belajar mengajar dan memberikan alteranatif menemukan model pembelajaran yang tepat yaitu dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL).
