The appearance of the industrial products serves as important factor in determining the value of products. However, CAD systems are not effective in the aesthetic design due to insufficient functions for expressing the designer’s aesthetic ideas. The objective of this study is to develop the functions for aesthetic modeling based on designer’s Kansei. From the idea that spoken language serves as a means of expressing human Kansei, in this study, attempts are made to develop a system to transform spoken language into aesthetic models.
