Abstract

What can we say about structural inequalities in Brazil when we look at them through the lens of young people’s occupational trajectories? In contexts of economic growth and expansion of rights, what factors are relevant to make unequal the destinies of young Brazilians? In this article, we seek to answer these questions based on longitudinal data from a retrospective survey conducted in 2013 with a representative sample of 3,288 young people in 160 Brazilian municipalities.
