Abstract

Define the terms sample, population, and statistic. Introduce the concept of bias in sampling methods. Demonstrate how the sample size impacts the standard error. Illustrate several methods that exist on how to sample a population. Become familiar with the inherent advantages and disadvantages of the sampling methods.
