Reflecting on Digital Technology in Mathematical Problem-Solving Situations

Abstract

This chapter reflects on the preceding six chapters of this section of the book, highlighting the diversity of research problems addressed and the empirical and theoretical responses to those problems. The chapter comments on how the responses suggest the important role of digital technology for supporting seeing mathematically and ends by suggesting an area of research involving the collaborative technologies of Web 2.0.
