Abstract

Both RADAR and LiDAR datasets can be of great importance regarding forest management especially in moist tropical forests. However, their application and use is extremely complex and requires specific knowledge on how to use these in an image-like representation for further interpretation. This chapter explains how RADAR and LiDAR images can be processed for application in tropical forestry.
