Already the most popular international team sport, soccer continues to gain popularity in the whole world. With more people playing soccer, it is not surprising that the number of soccer-related injuries is increasing. Several strategies can help prevent soccer injuries. Pre- ventive measures in soccer should be based on epidemiological researches. Collecting detailed information on the injury mechanism, video-based investigations, or baseline forms may be suitable for recording the mechanism and type of injuries. After understanding the type of injury and injury severity, eliminating the risk factors and targeting prevention strat- egies will be easier. Prevention should begin as soon as players train or play on an organized level
