Abstract

In Laila Ripoll plays is outstanding the use of stylistic resources such us Carnival masks, spectres and ghosts, the living and the dead, the present grotesque world and the tragic world of the past, the world in which the live and death beings cohabit. The author points out the manner how «brutalized» humanity is shown through memories, dreams, visions, rituals, metatheatrical games and allegories. © UNED.
