Abstract

It’s a study at the beginning that aims to use tools typical of accountability (accounting, extra-accounting data related to the efficacy and efficiency of business management) that take to the reduction of the risk management and to better treatment of patients in healthcare companies. The purpose of this study is to create the premises for the planning of collecting and reporting data systems useful to all stakeholders (external and internal to the service), through the identification and the organization of accounting data for local public services through the qualitative method of the case studies methodology. The study allows data identification and mapping; moreover, the study offers an applicable methodology to evaluate the efficiency of the service on the territory, combining clinical and ethical with economic aspects.
