Abstract

Internet has busted television as preferred entertainment way by young people from 14 to 25. The general trend points that new generations are modifying their media consumerism habits, to the time they express their preferences for portable devices that allow to share tastes, con- tents and experiences with their near environment. Nevertheless, young people of today continue consuming television, a consumption that they proclaim to do, fundamen- tally, for watching entertainment and movie contents. These are the genres that have been pointed as their favorite ones, adding fiction and musical spaces, in the case of teenagers, while the ones that have reached adult age also choose opinion and informative programs. Additionally to general infor- mation in the matter, the study we present shows some consum- erism differences in young people of diverse Autonomous Communities of the State.
