Abstract

In order to effectively evaluate heavy metal pollution in soil for the study area, based on the soil environment database and the map server of ArcGIS Server, the soil heavy metal pollution assessment system based on WebGIS was developed with ASP.NET(C#), JavaScript and HTML, System application of the sample soil pollution assessment model to evaluate the monitoring points and the index value derived from analysis of spatial interpolation. Finally, the results generate thematic maps based on the soil background values of Study area for visual display. The system achieved the soil quality of the environment online sharing, evaluation and consulting. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2011.
