Abstract

This paper undertakes the problem of Design Centering and Tolerancing (DCT). This subject plays important role in design of analog circuits. Practically it is impossible to obtain the optimum solution by mathematically described computational methods, and the problem is numbered to NP-diffcult category. Optimum nominal values and tolerances of analog circuit parameters such as resistance, capacitance and inductance, are determined based on evolutionary strategy. The approach is verified on benchmark example and significant improvement, when compared with other design methods, can be observed. © 2006 Springer.
