Abstract

In homogenates of protonemal cells of Ceratodon, an active lipase which cannot be inhibited by low temp. produces high amts. of acetylenic fatty acids which are further degraded or modified into components which are probably potent enzyme inhibitors. [on SciFinder(R)]
