Abstract

In 2015 in Russian Federation is celebrating the seventieth anniversary of the Victory in The Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 are celebrated. This War was fully reflected and in life of Tomsk state university (TSU). Lecturers, researchers, employees, students of TSU by the personal participation psych demonstrated the patriotic upsurge and hot fervent aspiration by the personal participation to fight back fascists. By the orders of the rector of June 23, 1941 in connection withdue to drafting the conscription in the RKKA (The Workers' and Peasants' Red Army) Red Army it was expelled 90 lectures and students. Among those who in the first days of war went to the front in the first days of war, there were associate professors S.M. Petrov, A.A. Sivkov, assistants Yu.V. Chistyakov, P.N. Kokhanenko, I.V. Novick, S.G. Makovsky, A.I. Portnyagin, N.S. Tyapkin, etc. In the fights struggle for freeing liberation of Right-bank and Left-bank Ukraine, Moldova, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria from fascist aggressors died heroically K.D. Bezdenezhnykh (worker of experimental workshops of the Siberian physical and technologal institute), D.A. Vilnin (lecturer of department of Marxism-Leninism), A.I. Dementiev (graduate of geological and soil faculty, 1942), N.F. Egorin (associate professor of vertebrate animals), V.I. Kalinin (student of faculty of history and philology), V.D. Gorokhov (graduate of chemical faculty), V.M. Leykin (assistant professor of the department of astronomy), etc. During the wartime about 600 staff and students of TSU went to the frontIn total during wartime about 600 people are off at the front from TSU. About 200 people men were killed in battles. Their names are immortalized on a stele at anear the monument to the lost students, lecturers, researchers, workers and employees of Tomsk state university in the University grove. This article is intended for those interested in the history of the Great Patriotic War, the history of higher education and science, as well as the Soviet period of Russian history.
