Abstract

We looked at multiculturalism and diversity as these two concepts continue to change the complexion of America, and working America. The fact remains that America still has a long way to go before all human beings are recognized as being equal regardless of their ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, or physical and mental ability. Organizations are yet to learn to hire on the basis of criteria other than race and such divisive parameters. In this discussion, we offer that people must learn to unite with one another in order for America to truly succeed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
