Adaptive scanning control for cardiac CT image reconstruction

Abstract

Adaptive rotational velocity for circular scan and pitch conditions for helical scan are proposed to improve the temporal resolution for helical cardiac CT. The adaptive rotational velocity and pitch should..be selected by heart rate so as to achieve high quality cardiac CT image. The temporal resolution can be improved with our adaptive velocity and pitch. © 2009 Springer-Verlag.
